HQB-Boats have developed a CAD system where your dream is turned into three types of drawings. "Visual layout" to check the shape style and dimensions of the boat, "Profile drawings" so the many shapes and parts can be cut by our profiling contractors prior to assembly and "Assembly drawings" detailing how and where every part goes.

Experience has led us to the firm belief that boats must be built inside. The very neatest and best form of welding for boats is MIG welding and this can be very difficult outside where the wind will blow away the shrouding gases essential for a quality weld. Building outside also exposes the shell to the elements and corrosion before it can be primed and painted. We have a number of locations where our shells are assembled.
